So, Denise wants to drop out of college and sits down with her parents to discuss her decision.
When Mr. and Mrs. Huxtable ask Denise what her plans are if she's not going to college, she arrogantly says she'll just be a "fashion designer or record producer."
While this is all happening, Theo is struggling to find a dorm to live in since he will be going away to college in the upcoming months.
Dr. Huxtable, of course, jokes to his wife throughout the entire show that his kids are trying to "take his house." Meaning, as his kids get older, they are supposed to be moving out and moving on with their lives, leaving time for him and his wife to be alone.
Meanwhile, Elvin and Sondra come visit and offer Denise a job. Denise quickly rejects the offer, saying she doesn't want to do anything that isn't fashion or music related.
In the end Denise gets a crappy job at Blue Ray Records as an assistant to an assistant--basically she'll be getting coffee for people for $25 a week.
Mr. and Mrs. Huxtable support her decision--and trust that she'll figure it out as soon as she isn't making enough money to support herself.
The Cosby Show is always packed with little life lessons--and if those don't entertain you, Bill Cosby's sweaters sure will!
And I forgot why I TiVo everything...I HATE commercials!
Reruns are Spectacular!

Ooooh, Dr. Huxtable!
My life would not be complete without a couple episodes a week of The Cosby Show. Okay, so maybe that's not true--but I do love a nice rerun of this fantastic 80s show!
As my very first blog post--I will be giving you a rundown of a repeat of The Cosby Show titled "Together Again and Again," first aired in 1988.
Denise, played by Lisa Bonet, doesn't feel like she is "cut out" for the pressures the college lifestyle brings. She doesn't think a person's grades should reflect on who they are as a person--and she says that is how you are judged in college.
